I’m just starting out – what forex signals should I use??
That depends on the time frame in which you want to trade; day trade or position trade. There are advantages to both but you want to find out which one fits your schedule and personality the best.
Here is one method which claims to have proven easy to follow instructions and is explained to the users, http://www.jcls-forex.com/forex-signals-html.
Forex Killer gave me my first break, but if you really want forex autotrading to be simple and fairly automated, I think IvyBot is a great robot. I have tried 5 bots in the past couple of months and IvyBot gave me good results and was pretty simple. They have 4 bots which the constantly update. So you can select each bot for a different currency pair.
If you go to any FOREX site, you would be able to see that most of these sites do offer FREE Technical Analysis Report, Daily Outlook or Trading Strategies. Use them! It works. You just need to ensure you follow this three conditions:
1-Open three different sites and look at the report. If 2 out of 3 or all 3 says Buy or Sell and having the same Enter and Exit targets, use it!
2-Wait for the price to reach or touch the Entry price mentioned in the report for that particular pair!
3-Ensure that the time the report was issued is synchronized with your local time!
You do need some basic understanding of some indicators though. If you can, trade with this FREE signals and why not open another account and trade without these signals! Diversify. You may also opt for automated software. However, this is not for newbies!
Forex signals are not to be followed blindly. These are used for trend analysis and is reliable only when you have knowledge of using it correctly. Forex is well known for its volatility therefore trusting blindly anything can lead us to huge losses.
Combining knowledge with analytical thinking can be a reliable source for earning huge profit.
When you trade forex, you are putting your money on the line. So what forex signals you use is very important as it will determine you win or lose money.
Generally I would keep away from free forex signals as too many people would be using them as they are free. Also free signals are generally not the best and support may be limited. So I would not use them.
But you can generate your own free forex trading signals from software like Forex Killer or other robots like Forex Automoney. You would need to pay something but I always find them worthwhile. You can fix your own criteria to meet your trading style.
As a forex trader, I can tell you that there are very few brokers that provide this facility. Even my broker Finexo.com offers daily market analysis and currency updates once in a day. Mataf brokers give buy/sell points recommendations too once in a day.
How many people do you know today who are making a living trading with signal providers?
I have been managing funds since 1997 and have met a lot of people who says they are using this signal provider, or that trading sofftware, and they are still driving the same car since.
What I tell my clients is that if they want to trade using signal providers or trading software, at least learn how to trade without these “crutches”. This way, when the seller explains to you how it works, you will know if their system will work for the long term or not, and if the price you are going to pay is going to give a better ROI.
I Simply put, a forex signal is generated by a set of technical indicators used in forex trading (MACD, RSI, MA,..)which will give you a buy or sell recommendation.
A simple forex signal could be: I want to buy a currency pair if the 5 exponential moving average crosses the 50 simple moving average from below. If this conditions is met, I’m going to buy that currency pair. That’s how most forex signals are generated.
There are a lot of forex signal services both free and chargeable. But many of them, unfortunately, are really useless. I’ve found two companies whose returns have been fairly reliabe lately: www.understandmarket.com (mid-term trades) and www.fxmaster.net (short-term trades). For fair reviews on various signal providers you may visit www.fx-review.com or www.forexbastards.com.
I had bought an indicator forex signals subscription from forex-tsd.com and I was wondering if they are involved in other frauds. My credit card keeps getting charges from them and they will not stop billing me! each month. The charges are larger and larger. I need help. If ForexTSD has done the same and SCAMMED others please let me know!
Well, that’s unfair indeed. Even if it is a subscription, they should have warned you CLEARLY what sums you’ll be charged. Otherwise they are playing dirty.
Unsubscribe. If it is difficult to do or if you can’t find the way to do it, contact them: call them, email them, write a letter – let them know you don’t want to receive their services anymore. If you get no response soon, immediately contact your credit card issuer, e.g. if you have visa – contact VISA, mastercard – contact MASTER CARD etc. Tell them that you are no longer a subscriber and you have done your part by notifying the company that you no longer need their services. You’ll get further instructions and the issue will be resolved for you.
I’ve heard a lot of pretty serious traders say they follow JCL’s Forex Signals, which claims to use well thought out creative money management with good risk to reward ratios on each trade and good position sizing as well. The returns are just double digit but the risk is extremely low with less than a 5% draw down in the last 18 months.
Forex signals which identify the right price to Buy or Sell are generated from software programs in which we set all our criteria for trading. Many of these forex signal generating software programs have some sort of in-built intelligence probably built from historical results.
To generate forex signals all you need is to set your variables and load your data. You will then get your forex signals generated.
There are many forex signal generating software in the market. ForexKiller is the first auto-generating forex signal that I tried out and till now, about 9 months, I have had some good signals quite consistently. I have tried a few other signal providers on subscription basis but have got mixed results. Forex Automoney gives decent results. Of course this depends on your trading style and what is bad for me may be good for someone else.
I have a copy of London Forex Rush. I have tested it out for a month and the results are pretty good. It’s useful for me as I do intra-day trading in Sterling. The results with London Forex rush are definitely better than those that I do without it.
